CHANGEABLE KEY

Double acting levers. Nikel-plated, congruent, unilateral (operating on one side only) double bit keys in steel, normally unremovable (when the lock is open). Chrome-zinc plated, anti-manipulation toothed levers and adjustable levers in steel, spaced by antifriction brass separators. The motion bar (1 in the drawing) is in the middle of the lever-packet and it carries out a throw of 8 mm, plus 1 mm of changing-overthrow. The locks can be mounted in the 4 directions (right, left, up, down) and they are all supplied functioning on a "zero key" (toothless). The changeable keys are supplied in small sealed matt plastic bags.
In order to change the key: by pressing the button 8 (see drawing), the key, while opening, can execute a complete half turn (180°) and be removed. Insert a new key (reversed). By closing, it is automatically memorized instead of the previous one, no more valid. A device (9 in the drawing) prevents from inserting the key not correctly oriented.
